WML Consulting Engineers began its journey in 1984 under the name Weder & Associates, laying the foundation for what would become one of Namibia's trusted civil and structural engineering consultancies.
Over the decades, WML has been at the forefront of infrastructure development in Namibia—contributing to urban and industrial growth, public facilities such as schools, hospitals, shopping centers and border posts, as well as rural roads and community-based projects.
A forward-thinking decision early on to adopt computer-aided design and drafting technology positioned the firm as a pioneer in digital engineering practices. Today, that commitment continues with the integration of 3D and Building Information Modelling (BIM), enabling greater accuracy, collaboration, and design efficiency.
While WML previously operated as a multidisciplinary consultancy, since 2021 the firm has focused exclusively on civil and structural engineering—strengthening its technical depth and aligning its expertise with client needs.
